These superchargers are internally lubricated with a fully integrated air-to-water charge cooler.Vortech superchargers are gear driven and operate nearly silently. They also boast impressive reliability. Vortech makes these superchargers and tests the advanced, high efficiency impellers and housing design in their own supercharger test cell. You can purchase fuel management upgrades to include high flow fuel pump, high capacity fuel injectors, and EDM chip design. (EDM, or eletrical discharge machining chips are produced by bombarding the workpiece and electrode with positive ions and electrons allowing for the manufacture of extremely small chips.)
The air/water charge cooler configuration on the HO system allows for greater horsepower gains and is maintenance free. These superchargers use aluminum mounting brackets to resemble OEM appearance.
